This page showcases a selection of my PhD Portraits from my 'Paint me this way!' exhibition, Swindon Museum and Art Gallery, supported by the Arts Council England. It also shows a selection of portraits in different media, as well as sculptures from my 'Handle with care!' series, and oil paintings captured en plein air.
Based in Swindon, I work nationally and internationally on research-led creative projects that bring together fine art, reflective inquiry and the reimagining of historical visual narratives.
My work sits at the intersection of image, identity and storytelling. Whether painting from life, working en plein air, or reimagining historical artworks, I am drawn to the quiet moments where a person or place reveals its inner sense of self. Through careful technique and research-led practice, I explore how beauty, memory and transformation can be felt through paint.
